Michael D. Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson began practicing with our office in July of 2000. He specializes in internal medicine with a focus on diabetes, high blood pressure, and health concerns of the kidneys.

Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then earned a Doctorate of Medicine in 1997 from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. While there he was awarded the Kass Fellowship from the Infectious Disease Society of America and the Samuel J. Roessler Research Scholarship. He completed a year-long internship and two year residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado in their internal medicine program.

Dr. Johnson is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association and is chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. Nicholas Hospital.
